Bands and music artists are starting to announce their plans for concerts in the week leading up to Baby Boomers Recognition Day on August 17. Among them are the band Chicago, which will be playing at First Merit Event Park in Saginaw, Michigan at 8 pm on that day. Among their greatest hits are “If You Leave Me Now,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” and “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?”
Formed during 1967 in — you guessed it — Chicago, their hits during the 1970s and 1980s made them second only to the Beach Boys in Billboard chart success among American bands. Original band members who are still performing in the band are Walter Parazaider on saxophone, James Pankow on trombone, Lee Loughnane on trumpet, and singer Robert Lamm who also plays the keyboard.
